Phewww.... The day is over, time to breathe and relax, kick off your shoes and have another glass of prosecco to unwind... This is when my work begins... Once your photos have been taken, I will spend the next few days downloading all the images from the day and setting up online albums etc. It can take me up to two to three weeks to process your photos. This involves a lot of work culling images where there are background distractions, people with eyes closed, adjustments in lighting and colour etc. (Don't worry, I usually take several photos at a time so I capture the moment perfectly). I also recreate some images in monochrome/black and white as these tend to have a more classical look. If you see any particular photos that I haven't processed in monochrome/black and white and you think they would look nice, please let me know and I will duplicate them for you. As the images are processed, I will begin uploading a few of my favourites within the first day or two because I know you are keen to see them as quickly as possible and want to share them with family and friends. ONLINE GALLERIES: Please be patient, I tend to upload your photos in stages, otherwise it can take a lot of time waiting for them to upload. Once this process has begun, I will send you a link to access your secure, password protected online gallery (the password will be something recognisable and chosen by you). Please allow at least an hour before trying to access the gallery as it can take time to propagate online. PRINTED ALBUM DRAFT: I will also send you another link to add photos from your online gallery to a list for preferred photos to be included in your printed album. Alternatively, you can just simply 'heart' the particular image within the gallery and I will know to include this in your albums. When I put together online galleries and printed items, I try to create a work in order of shooting, leading up to and after the special moment. This helps to create a nice storyline and I will try to include any small details (rings, flowers, decorations etc.). If you have any preferred photos taken by family and friends on the day and you would like these included in your printed album, please email them to me as soon as you can and keep in mind size and data capacity of different images and email servers, as this can make it difficult to email them. Other things that may impact upon the quality of the printed photo from friends are, if a phone filter has been applied or the photo is not of high resolution, it could be rejected by the printers for quality reasons. When all of the chosen photos have been selected for your printed album, I will email you a draft of what your album will look like for final approval. This allows for any last minute changes to the order or selection etc. Once the album has been sent to the printers, it is difficult to make any changes, so please make sure you are completely happy with the album before you agree to have it sent off. HOW LONG WILL PRINTING TAKE?: Please note; printing of your album can take up to eight weeks to be printed and delivered as printers tend to be very busy and have a lot of back orders to complete. The album will be sent directly from the printers to you once it is completed. VIDEO PROCESSING TIMES: If your day included videography, please allow up to four weeks for processing which includes; layout, adding photo breaks, music and syncing of timelines etc. Once the video/s have been completed they will be uploaded to your online gallery to access and included with all your photos on your USB. POSTAGE & PACKAGING: Postage and packaging of all your photo items; USB's and printed albums is via Royal Mail 1st Class Track and Trace and is free to anywhere within the UK. As always, if you would like to make any changes or last minute alterations, please don't hesitate to get in touch via email; ianbrittainphotography@gmail.com or on 07552 094484. Thank you again for choosing me as your photographer, it was a pleasure and an honour to be part of your special day and I hope I have captured some great memories for you. If you have enjoyed the service and photos you have received, a review on Google, Facebook, my Website or Trust Pilot, is gratefully appreciated. Thank you! Ian
